Drift Bolt-Action Titanium Pen

Drift is our first bolt-action pen, designed, machined, finished, and assembled in our shop in Rhode Island. At 24 g, it brings the feel of machined titanium to everyday writing.

Made with care, from bar to finished pen

Drift features full Grade 5 Ti-6Al-4V titanium construction with a raw machined finish. Each pen is meticulously handcrafted in our Rhode Island shop. The slider body is honed and polished for a smooth, snappy bolt action.

Mechanism & writing feel

An integral bolt-action mechanism and a close fit between the body and slider give Drift a smooth, controlled action with satisfying mechanical feedback. The smooth, 10 mm grip and clipless design keep the profile simple and comfortable in the hand.

We started with the EnerGel 0.7 mm refill for its popularity, smooth writing feel, and ready availability. We love it. Each Drift ships pre-assembled with a standard metal-tip 0.7 mm EnerGel refill installed. Two additional refills are included: another standard metal-tip 0.7 mm EnerGel refill and a 0.7 mm needle-tip EnerGel refill.

EnerGel refills are widely available from a variety of retailers. You can also purchase additional refills directly from Veridune.

Each pen ships in a custom thick paper tube designed to be kept for long-term storage, transportation, and protection when your pen is not in use.

The first of many

Drift is the start of our product journey. Future plans include alternative materials, a model with a clip, and additional models designed around other refills.

Owner feedback will help guide further refinements to tip fit and movement, spring weight, mechanism feel and snappiness, grip options, and everyday usability. We will release new batches as we are able to make and assemble them with the care they deserve. Future designs and release timing are still in development.
